The Lodge at Lac La Martre is located on an island near the center of the lake, accessible only by floatplane.

The camp offers nine very comfortable guest cabins with full bathrooms.

Our season, which is limited to only 12 weeks, runs from mid-June through mid-September. Because personal service is of utmost importance to the Lac La Martre experience, we take ONLY 18 GUESTS EACH WEEK allowing us to give each and every one of them the fishing experience they’ve always dreamed of and memories that will last a lifetime.

About Us

We are the only lodge located on beautiful, 1,000 square mile Lac La Martre. The season begins with the Midnight Sun, nearly 24 hours of daylight, and ends with the magic of the Aurora Lights dancing in the night sky.

From August to September, the bright whimsical green and purple lights of the aurora you see when you are up in the north are collisions between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the earth's atmosphere.
